St. Paul's Lutheran Church - "Where Jesus is Lord, Everybody is Somebody and Faith is an Adventure."
St. Paul's Lutheran Church, is a charter member of the Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). It is a small church located in St. Maries, Idaho (population of 2500 with deep roots located in Benewah County). Our congregation averages 40-50 people for our worship each Sunday. We typically have an adult Bible study followed by traditional worship using one of the Lutheran Books of Order. Children's church is held during worship. Our current Church, built in 1952, has a beautiful sanctuary and fellowship hall along with a 4 bedroom parsonage next door.
Based upon the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 25:35-40, our congregation seeks to meet the needs of our community by providing food, clothing, shelter, financial assistance and outreach throughout the year. The majority of community recipients are low-income, unemployed individuals and families, including veterans.
We view our church as the place where people in the community come to get connected with God and one another. We also place great emphasis on understanding what it means to follow Jesus, then doing it. We understand that one size doesn't fit all when it comes to our community outreach ministries. Members are given the freedom to be creative in how they do ministry, working together to transform the lives of others.
We have dedicated our time in this community to share the Word of Christ in everything we say and everything we do. Our family welcomes you to come worship with us and find your place to help spread the message of love and hope in Jesus Christ today and for many years to come.
