Our Angel Ministry was birthed out of a vision one member of our congregation had after a tragedy hit close to our community just 48 miles away. In November 2017, we had a school shooting in a small school. Wanting to show our love and support to a community in grief we started making small angels packaged with a note of hope and love.  We drove to the school site and distributed our packaged angels to the staff, students, and parents. We were struck with an overwhelming positive response. The calls and letters we received for these tiny tokens encouraged us to continue with this ministry. Thus the ministry “Angels of Healing and Peace” was birthed.

A unique beaded angel is handcrafted and packaged individually in a small plastic bag. Those angels are than bundled in bags of fifty and sent with a note that describes our mission and a personalized note is written to the recipient. Our angel ministry provides these angel pendants to anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one who is now in heaven and tries to gain comfort from thinking of that person as now an angel helping them and communicating with them. We send them to "fallen" police officers, firefighters, EMT's, school shootings, military funerals, mission trips and other tragic events.

These angels represent God's presence, guidance and protection. Angels are regarded as messengers of God between heaven and earth, providing God's consolation, hope, faith, love and encouragement in the face of adversity reminding us we are never alone.

Since 2017, we have mailed out 242,650 handcrafted angels. We keep scrapbooks of the cards, letters and emails that we have received from our gifts.

Our angel workshops are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday or each month, from 1 to 3pm in our fellowship hall. We encourage everyone from our community to participate and spread the word about our Angel Ministry.

Donations are graciously accepted. If you are interested in participating or need more information, please contact:
