Prayer is a powerful gift that the Lord has given us to communicate with him. To pray is to talk with God, to be conscious of His presence and to listen to His voice in your heart. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made.

There may be many things weighing on your heart and mind. Praying can make burdens easier to carry and praying can make profound joy even more profound. You can express your desires, sadness and give thanks. You can pray for others.

The first step to any prayer is to give God glory and honor and praise. This positions our hearts to be aware of God's presence as we pray. At St. Paul's Lutheran Church, we believe prayer makes a difference. How can we pray for you?

You are invited to submit your prayer request here. Your request will be forwarded to the church and we will contact you if necessary.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and he will draw near you.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 17:6 I call on you, will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.

Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I

will hear you.
